Andy's friend, who is a correctional officer in Rexburg, took us on a tour of the County Jail on Saturday. We actually had a really educational experience. He said that most of the people there are in on drug charges, meth being the most abused drug. It was all sad, of course, but the things that struck me most were 1. a pregnant girl in on drug charges and 2. two boys about my age, maybe a little younger, who tried drugs once and got caught. I bet they NEVER thought they'd end up there (not that a lot of people in jail planned on ending up there, but you understand what I mean). Anyway, we really did have a good time. It made us very thankful that we have lived our lives in such a way that we could look from the outside in rather than from the inside out. Here are some pictures from our visit:
